A FORTUNE 100 Best Company to Work For

Lehigh Valley Health Network makes the list for a second straight year

For the second straight year, Lehigh Valley Health Network is recognized among the 100 Best Companies to Work For in the nation by FORTUNE magazine.

To choose the 100 Best Companies to Work For, FORTUNE conducts the most extensive employee survey in corporate America. Two-thirds of our score is based on what 400 colleagues said about our hospital.

FORTUNE mentioned three specific things that set us apart from other hospitals:

    1. Free health insurance - We offer it for full-time employees, and part-time employees who qualify can purchase coverage. This kind of comprehensive health coverage is rare nationwide, and we are among just 21 companies on the FORTUNE list that provide it.
    2. Culture of Wellness benefit - Eligible employees and their dependents receive $500 to use as they see fit for exercise and fitness programs, weight-loss programs, massage therapy and more.
    3. Generosity - Employees raised a combined $1.3 million toward our recently completed fund-raising campaign, Investing in Excellence Here at Home. That investment will help us strengthen every aspect of our care.

The values that FORTUNE uses in compiling its list - credibility, respect, fairness and pride - are values that are at the heart of everything we do for our patients and each other.

We know that creating a place where the best people want to work is what makes it possible for us to provide the best possible care to our community.

Thank you to all of our colleagues for loving what you do.
